Blade tension adjustment
It is very important that the tension of the scissor blades is set correctly.
Scissors that are too tight create excessive friction, which causes the hand to tire more quickly.
Scissors that are too loose can bend the hair and negatively affect the quality of the cut.
Both cases lead to faster wear of the cutting edges.
Before starting work, it is recommended to check the tension of the scissors and adjust the screw if necessary.

How to check the tension
1. Hold the scissors by the left handle with your left hand.
2. Lift the right handle so that the blade is in a horizontal position.
3. Scissors that are too loose can bend the hair and negatively affect the quality of the cut.
If the tension is set correctly, the blades should stop with about a 1 cm gap between the tips.
If the scissors close completely, the screw should be slightly tightened.
If they remain too open, the screw should be slightly loosened.
This method is suitable for most hairdressing scissors.
